Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Colombo → Negombo
  • Airport welcome by your private guide
  • Short transfer to Negombo (~30 min)
  • Optional boat ride in Dutch Canal or visit local fish market
  • Overnight in Negombo (beachside boutique hotel)
Day 2 – Negombo → Anuradhapura
  • Drive to Anuradhapura, the island’s first capital (~4.5 hrs)
  • Afternoon visit to sacred sites: Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, Ruwanweliseya, Isurumuniya
  • Overnight in Anuradhapura (eco-lodge or heritage hotel)
Day 3 – Explore Mihintale & Rural Life
  • Drive to Anuradhapura, the island’s first capital (~4.5 hrs)
  • Arrive in Sigiriya (Cultural Triangle)
  • Optional cycling tour or birdwatching
  • Same hotel in Anuradhapura
Day 4 – Anuradhapura → Sigiriya (via Aukana or Ritigala)
  • Visit Aukana Buddha statue or Ritigala forest monastery on the way
